Data is important to illustrate what is happening on the roading network and it is also used by decision makers to inform their decisions around road safety messaging, initiatives and advocacy.

PWASNZ will use captured data around near misses, driver behaviour, injury and death for its advocacy with stakeholders, and for our own targeted road safety messaging. After all, we are leading the change that is required to keep equestrians safe on the road. 40 deaths from 2000 to 2019 is too greater loss to ignore.
